Who is Agent 26 in Valorant? Next Agent leaks & teasers
Riot GamesRiot continue to add new Valorant Agents to keep the experience as fresh as possible. After the release of Clove in Episode 8 Act 2, players are looking forward to the launch of the next Agent. But what is known about Agent 26 so far?
Here’s everything you need to know about the next Valorant Agent.
Who is the Agent 26?
As of writing, there is no information yet about who the next Agent to arrive in Valorant will be, let alone an estimated release date.
It’s worth noting that Riot typically release a new Agent approximately 4 to 6 months after the last launch. Considering that Clove was released on March 26, Valorant players can expect the arrival of this new Agent between late July and September 2024.
Agent 26 teasers & leaks
The devs included a reference to what could be Agent 26 in the new map, Abyss. In it, we can see the silhouette of a person walking behind a window.
In addition, this silhouette and the color of the window match a small teaser that VALORANTLeaksEN leaked on June 8, where we can only see the hand of what is likely the new Agent 26.
After seeing this brief video, many Valorant players speculated that the new Agent could be Omen’s brother. However, a Reddit user did some research and found an old Player Card, given in the Battle Pass of Episode 7 Act 1, which shows the possible appearance of Agent 26.
Riot GamesIf we analyze that Player Card, the woman has hands very similar to those seen in the teaser. On the other hand, if Riot confirms this, we might also get a hint about the possible electronic abilities this Agent could have, given that the Digihex collection features a Gun Buddy and a Spray of a broken microchip.
However, with the launch of Episode 9, another theory has started gaining traction in the community, suggesting that the next agent might have abilities related to plants and thorns.
Rioters are well-known for their attention to detail, and in the latest trailer they shared, some thorny roots can be seen advancing in the final shot of the video. Adding to the speculation, insider ValorLeaks shared a Player Card Reward from the upcoming Battle Pass that also features the same silver roots seen in the trailer.
