GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games in recent memory, despite Rockstar offering up very little information about the sequel. According to an industry insider, the first sneak peek at GTA 6 can actually be found in the San Andreas Definite Edition.

The rumor mill surrounding GTA 6 has been constant for many years, and with the recent confirmation from Rockstar that work on the sequel is underway, the speculation isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.

We recently saw a report that the follow-up to GTA 5 will be 500 hours long and span multiple continents, while publisher Take Two’s earnings calls led fans to believe that the game will release in late 2023.

Despite all of the whispers and alleged leaks, we’re still waiting to see the game in all its glory. However, an industry insider has revealed that Rockstar may have snuck the first look at GTA 6 into the San Andreas Definite Edition.

When GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition launched back in November 2021, players quickly spotted a teaser that got them talking. A wall in the “Lil Probe Inn” coffee shop features various pictures of UFO sightings over locations from the GTA series, as well as Red Dead Redemption 2.

One of the photos, in particular, stood out as the location did match a spot in any of Rockstar’s games. It showed a white house with a palm tree in the front yard, leaving many to speculate that this is a building from GTA 6.

Months after the San Andreas remaster was released, industry insider Matheusvictorbr claims that his sources have confirmed this picture is from the “next title of the Grand Theft Auto” series.

In his tweet, translated from Portuguese, he adds that the suburb could be inspired by Hollywood, Florida. There had been rumors that Rockstar devs had traveled to Miami, Florida to scope out possible settings for GTA 6, so this could potentially line up.

Given that GTA 6 is expected to be the biggest and most ambitious game in the series, possibly covering multiple parts of the US and other continents, it’s definitely possible that the sunny streets of Florida could show up.

Of course, this is all just speculation until Rockstar drops the first trailer and reveals exactly where the long-awaited follow-up will take place.
