How to complete Gray Zone Warfare Hacker 1 & 2 tasks: All camera, tower & satellite locations

Handshake in Gray Zone Warfare requires you to hack cameras and interact with towers and satellites spread throughout the Fort Narith region. There are two parts of this task too, and here’s how you can complete them both.

The Hacker task in Gray Zone Warfare is exactly like it sounds and similar to other tasks in the game, but it doesn’t give you a lot of precise directions to complete the objectives. On top of that, upon completing Hacker, you’ll eventually get the Hacker 2 task from Handshake as well which matches the original in terms of gameplay but you have to explore new locations.

On that note, here’s everything to know about completing the Hacker 1 and 2 tasks in Gray Zone Warfare, including the locations of all cameras, towers, and satellites that have to be hacked.

How to complete Gray Zone Warfare Hacker task

You can complete the Hacker task in Gray Zone Warfare by hacking four cameras with the Camera Wiretap item across the Fort Narith region. These include:

Main entrance camera location

The main entrance to Fort Narith is located at coordinates 144 130 and you can find the exact location in the image as well:

Fort Narith is a densely populated area, so it’s recommended to visit the Hacker task with your faction members.

Right beside the entry barrier, you’ll find a small guard room and the camera is placed at one of its corners. Look towards the camera and press F to place the camera trap which should complete the objective.

Army headquarters camera location

The headquarters in Fort Narith are located at coordinates 143 129 and you have to first reach the point marked in the image below:

Just as you enter the headquarters, immediately go right to find another camera, opposite the red curtain. Interact with it to set up the camera trap and complete the objective.

Northern entrance camera location

The northern entrance camera that you need to hack for the Hacker task in Gray Zone Warfare is at coordinates 142 131. Right in front of a damaged blue truck, you’ll find the camera in the top right corner of a small guardroom next to the entry gate.

Air traffic control building camera location

The air traffic control building in Gray Zone Warfare is located at coordinates 142 128. You can enter through the airfield back entrance and pass the trucks to reach the building marked in the image below:

How to get Camera Wiretraps to complete Hacker task

Handshake in Gray Zone Warfare sells Camera Wiretraps for $150 at level 2. To reach this level though, you’ll have to complete a bunch of his tasks such as First Recon, Little Bird Down, and Rat’s Nest.

How to complete Gray Zone Warfare Hacker 2 task

You can complete the Hacker 2 task in Gray Zone Warfare by retrieving the codebook for Handshake and hacking two towers as well as a satellite in three more locations across Fort Narith region.

Where to find codebook from the radio room

Enter the army headquarters in Fort Narith from coordinates 143 129 that have been marked in the image above. Use the stairs to reach the second floor and take left. Go straight through the corridoor and at the end, you’ll enter the communication room (there’s a plate on the door’s left). The codebook can be retrieved from the table in front of the whiteboard.

How to hack the satellite at Fort Narith HQ

Yet again, enter the Fort Narith HQ from the same entrance at 143 129 and go to the third floor through the stairs. Now, go to the extreme right where you’ll find the final set of stairs to reach the rooftop.

Take two rights to find the satellite near the green tent. Interact with it to complete the objective.

How to hack the radio tower at Fort Narith airfield

The radio tower at Fort Narith airfield is located at coordinates at 145 126. The orange tower is fairly easy to spot from a distance and there’s a power generator next to it that you need to tap into to complete this part of the Hacker 2 task.

How to hack the radio tower at the base

The tower at the base is located at coordinates 143 130 and it is exactly like the one you visit in the Fort Narith airfield. Yet again, just look for the power generator and tap into it to complete the final objective and get the rewards for Hacker 2.

After completing all the objectives for the Hacker task, head back to your base camp and choose Handshake from the Vendors tab. Upon doing so, you’ll get the following rewards:

Hacker 1 rewards

• Recon plate carrier
• Commander armor
• 5,500 USD in-game
• 2000 EXP
• 200 Reputation

Hacker 2 rewards

• M4A1 with attachments
• 9,200 in-game money
• 2000 EXP
• 200 Handshake reputation
