Diablo 4 players praise Dolmen Stone after Patch 1.2: “That’s what a unique should feel like”

Diablo 4 finally revealed the 1.2.0 update patch notes, where players were quick to note the Dolmen Stone, a Unique Item that has fans excited about its appearance in Sanctuary. Even if this Unique is set to be used only by the Druid class, most Diablo 4 fans praised the buffs and visual effects promised for this item.
“Blizzard take note; Dolmen Stone is the type of item that you should strive to create,” was the title of a popular post in the Diablo 4 subreddit, where players pointed out how this type of Unique Item makes them “look to gearing into and unlocking new playstyles.”
BlizzardPlayers have been quite critical of every Diablo 4 update, especially after the wave of bugs and glitches as a consequence of Patch 1.1.0. The Diablo 4 community was also disappointed with what was described as an “empty” endgame and even the little amount of content brought during Season 1.
The last Diablo 4 Campfire Chat got fans excited for Season 2, especially after describing changes in Unique Items. “I was watching that stream, and while they were going through the Unique update I was like ‘hmm, cool, sounds good, F**KING U WHAT MATE!? I was immediately like’ I want that f**king item. THAT’S the type of chase-feeling we need,” described Reddit user welter_skelter.
What is Dolmen Stone in Diablo 4?
Dolmen Stone is one of the new Unique Items that will be introduced in Diablo 4 Season 2. This item is set to be used by the Druid class and will allow casting Boulder while the Hurricane skill is active. This will cause boulders to rotate around the character.
“Dolmen Stone changes the way your Boulder skill behaves and even interacts with another skill,” pointed out Reddit user BoomShackles. “This is the type of gameplay that players can look to gearing into, unlocking new play styles, and not just bigger damage numbers because there’s a percentage chance for an effect to trigger.”
Along with this Druid Unique Amulet, Season of Blood will bring 12 other Unique Items to farm while trying to purge Sanctuary from a vampire invasion. Diablo 4 Season 2 is set to be released on October 17, 2023.
