Content Warning continues to rise in popularity since its surprise release on April 1. The game’s core premise sees players collaborate and venture into the Old World to capture spooky footage. And, since co-op is at the heart of the game, some have been left wondering if the title is playable offline.

So if you’re looking to experience the game without any internet connection, here’s whether or not Content Warning is playable offline.

Is Content Warning playable offline?

No, Content Warning cannot be played offline as an internet connection is required to join a game. Presently, you can join a game with your friends or join a random lobby, both of which need an active connection to work.

It remains to be seen whether the devs incorporate an offline mode in the future. But, given the game’s focus on playing with other users, this is highly unlikely.

You can always play the game solo if you’re looking for a single-player experience, but you’ll still need an internet connection.
