Warzone is best known for its chaotic and strategic online battle royale gameplay, but can you jump into a game using split-screen with two players locally?

Warzone is one of the most popular free-to-play titles out there, offering a AAA multiplayer FPS experience. Many will squad up with friends to be the last team standing, so can you play split-screen?

Here’s everything you need to know about the split-screen availability in Warzone.

Is Warzone split-screen on PlayStation, Xbox or PC?

Warzone does not feature split-screen, meaning you can not play the battle royale locally on either PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X|S, or PC. The only way to play with others is through the online service.

This may come as a surprise to those who utilize MW3‘s split-screen feature for multiplayer, which allows two players to enjoy the game on one console and screen. However, the devs decided not to include this feature for the battle royale, despite being on the same application.

The devs have not addressed why this is the case, but perhaps the massive scale and protection of the battle royale’s competitive integrity are two reasons. That’s not to say the feature is never coming to Warzone, as there’s always a chance that could happen somewhere down the line.

If any news regarding split-screen in Warzone is released, we’ll be sure to update this piece so stay tuned. For now, check out some more guides on the Call of Duty battle royale:
