MW3 split-screen modes: Does Zombies have split-screen?

Split-screen isn’t available for the campaign or Zombies in Modern Warfare 3. However, you can play split-screen in MW3 on all multiplayer modes except Ground War, Free For All, and Invasion.

Keep in mind that the split-screen can be buggy for a lot of people, much like the issues that existed with this feature in Modern Warfare 2 at launch.

How to play split-screen in MW3 on PlayStation & Xbox

Here are a few simple steps you need to follow to start playing MW3 in split-screen on your PlayStation or Xbox:

1. Connect the second controller to your console.
2. Add a PlayStation/Xbox Account for the second controller. If you already have another user profile created, simply assign it to the other controller.
3. Press the prompt for joining the split screen on the top right of your game screen.
4. Select multiplayer for game modes that allow split-screen.

You can now play split-screen in Modern Warfare 3, however, if you try launching Zombies or the campaign while connected with both controllers, you’ll receive a notice.

This message will inform you that these modes don’t allow split-screen and if you wish to proceed, you’ll need to remove the other player from the device.
