Diablo 4 Season 3 introduced a new type of Dungeon called Vaults. According to the Season of the Construct storyline, these are underground keeps buried beneath Kehjistan.

Completing Vaults will reward Wardwoven Chests with Legendary Items, as well as granting Shattered Stones that can be crafted into Governing and Tuning Stones at Jewelers found through Sanctuary.

Diablo 4: How to unlock Vaults in Season of the Construct

To unlock a Vault in Diablo 4 Season 3, players will need to gather Pearls of Warding. To get them, Wanderers will have to defeat Elite Constructs and negate the Arcane Tremor by defeating the Herald Construct.

After getting Pearls of Warding, players will gain a buff called Zoltun’s Warding, which diminishes stack by stack if players lose fights against Elemental Hazards. If they manage to keep Zoltun’s Warding intact after defeating the Vault Boss, they’ll unlock a Wardwoven Chest, which has a higher chance of granting Legendary items.

Wanderers playing at World Tier III will be able to unlock Nightmare Vaults. These can be unlocked with Vault Sigils, which will drop alongside typical Nightmare Dungeon Sigils, or they can be crafted, which will require Pearls of Warding to create.
