With Diablo 4 Season 3 almost about to begin, players say goodbye to Season of Blood sharing what were the best features of Diablo 4 Season 2.

Diablo 4 had a rough start with Season of the Malignant, where players complained not only of bugs that affected its gameplay, but also got quickly tired of how repetitive some of the endgame content became after a couple of weeks. However, Season 2 introduced a huge overhaul to the character classes, along with plenty of content that fans were grateful to try out.

Some fans took it to Reddit to talk about their favorite Season on Blood features and discussed which activities they’d particularly loved to see in Season 3. Most of them included the Vampiric Powers, the introduction of the event Blood Harvest, and were grateful about the frequency drop of Uber Uniques.

“Season 2 definitely took some steps in the right direction. I liked that the new Ubers were very doable by pretty much anyone, the experience gain was good, World Boss spawn rates were much more reasonable. That said, I do hope that there’s less reliance on a single form of content to access the best boss in the game (helltides for steel specifically) in Season 3,” commented Redditor ‘Nixilaas.’

The Diablo 4 community has been very critical of the lack of multiplayer features that make it almost impossible to gain access to certain rewards, players were glad that Season 2 “sped up” the process of farming Aspects and Uniques with new types of events.

“The game lacked a structure and S2 fixed that. There’s a clear path and rotation of activities that you have to do now: Bloodtides for Vampire powers, Helltides for mats/target farming, NMDs for mats/glyph XP, Whispers for XP/gold, Ubers for Wniques, World bosses for high Lvl gear, etc. It all fits in together nicely, there’s lots of variety,” pointed out Redditor ‘YakaAvatar.’

Diablo 4 players are expecting Blizzard to continue down this road to make up what they once considered a game without endgame content, and agreed that Season 3 could use Season of Blood structure but with “more content, crafting, and new itemization systems.”

And that’s why Diablo 4 players hope that Season 3 lives up to Season of Blood. If you want to know more about Blizzard’s ARPG, you can check these guides which affix players hate the most and which are the fan’s theories for the Diablo 4 Season 3 theme.
