Diablo 4 Season 2 players have reported a hilarious Helltide glitch that transformed Sanctuary’s map into a neon light festival. Here’s what the Diablo 4 community has been talking about.

Diablo 4’s most alarming discussions during the release of Season of the Malignant were related to issues reported by players regarding with its GPU’s requirements. But even if those discussions seem to have been long-forgotten, an Xbox user posted a Diablo 4 Season 2 bizarre visual bug apparently caused by GPU temperature spiking.

Under the title “New Version of Helltide just dropped”, Reddit user ‘Divided_we_’ showed a curious glitch that made the whole Diablo 4 map light up in neon colors when entering a Helltide event, giving Sanctuary a cyberpunk visual style.

“Helltide: EDM edition,” described user ‘mrgoodbytes8891’, while others also joked that the scene seemed to be that “demons discovered LSD.” While the majority of Diablo 4 players took the issue with humor, others pointed out that this effect might be signaling a problem with the OP’s GPU temperature.

“It happens to me too on Xbox when I switch Helltide zones/instances that are near each other too rapidly. It seems like the game can’t unload/load the region textures quickly enough when zone switching this quick because it starts lagging like crazy, and then you start getting this,” explained user ‘IsThereCheese’.

According to this Diablo 4 player, traveling through major events in a short time in Xbox produces a series of graphic stutters and glitches that will only stop after leaving the Helltide. “Surprisingly, never had a crash in S2. This was a new one, though,” the user described in another related post.

Other users chimed in and noted that it was an issue that seemed to be affecting most consoles due to overheating, but most Diablo 4 fans find the glitch hilarious despite this. “All the fireworks. Is Mariah Carey spawning as the new Christmas Uber Boss?,” joked user ‘MidLaneNoPrio’.

And that’s what the Diablo 4 community has been saying about the bizarre “EDM rave” Helltide glitch. If you want to know more about Blizzard’s iconic ARPG, you can check what players are requesting for its trading system and how many users are currently playing Diablo 4 Season of Blood.
