Want to find all Starcats in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish? Here’s every location for these mischievous feline collectibles to help you earn the seasonal triumph in Destiny 2 and the Ghost Shell, including instructions to reach their hideouts, and updated until week 7 of Season 23.

Destiny 2 veteran players might be familiar with the new collectibles available in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish. The Starcats are back to sow mischief in The Dreaming City, the Ascendant plane, and inside Riven’s Lair.

Starcats and Wishing Dragons have a lot in common, and even some pieces of the lore seem to point out their correlation. But for players, these tricky felines are a rare sight, so finding them all for the related Triumph will not be so easy.

So, here’s how to find all Starcats in Destiny 2, including each collectible currently available.

Note: The eleventh Starcat is located in the Cell of the Syconphant, but it remains bugged, this guide will be updated as soon the Starcat location is fixed.

Destiny 2 Season of the Wish: All Starcats locations

To find Starcats in Destiny 2 you will need to locate each one and interact with them. These small felines will be scattered across all seasonal activities and locations related to them. So keep an eye open for them, and remember to bring a Small Offering with you.

Starcats’ locations seem to shift with each week of content drop, and it is expected that new areas of The Coil and Riven’s Lair open up and reveal more Starcats locations.

The associated Triumph for finding all the Starcats is called ‘Familiar Felines,’ and it is part of the secret seasonal triumphs you need to unlock the Wishbender title. According to the Triumph, there’s a total of 14 Starcats to be found throughout the season.

Destiny 2: The Blind Well Starcat location

To locate the first Starcat in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish, you need to travel to The Blind Well in the Dreaming City. Upon reaching the location, advance in a straight line, crossing the central area from your spawn point and going to the furthest closed door.

You will find this Starcat sticking to the door. Interact with it to unlock the first Starcat collectible.

Destiny 2: Garden of Plenty Starcat location

To reach the second Starcat location in Destiny 2, players need to enter the activity named Riven’s Lair and wait until the randomized rotations take them to a place called Garden of Plenty.

The next Starcat will be hidden between two rocks on a crevice, and to reach that location, advance in a straight line from the spawn point portal and stick to the left crevice. Keep moving forward and sticking to the left until the cliff takes a small curve, and behind a big rock, you will see a drop point.

Then, you’ll soon see a collectible indicator revealing the location of the Starcat.

Destiny 2: Aphelion’s Rest Starcat location

To find the Starcat in Aphelion’s Rest, you must first travel to Divalian Mists in the Dreaming City and enter the Lost Sector. Once you have defeated the boss, look closer to the stone bowl behind the Lost Sector Chest, as the Starcat will be inside.

Destiny 2: Chamber of Starlight Starcat location

To find the Starcat in the Chamber of Starlight in Destiny 2, you need to travel south from the landing zone in the Dreaming City and then progress further until you find yourself in Rheasilvia. Seek the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector and progress until you meet the boss at the end of the dungeon.

After defeating it, look upon the circular structure opposite to the one that holds the Lost Sector chest; on top of the altar lies the Starcat.

Destiny 2: Bay of Drowned Wishes Starcat location

The Starcat in Bay of Drowned Wishes can be found in the Lost Sector behind the first landing zone in The Dreaming City. Progress through the dungeon until you meet the Lost Sector boss, kill it, and right next to the Lost Sector chest, you’ll see a small stone ledge. There lies the Starcat you are looking for.

Destiny 2: Temple of the Queen’s Wrath Starcat location

This Starcat can be easily missed in Destiny 2’s second Story Quest for the Season of The Wish. To find this Starcat, you need to enter the Tautology mission from the Seasonal Story Quest and turn right from the spawning zone. You’ll see several columns; the Starcat will be hiding behind one of them in the back room.

Don’t worry if you missed this cat the first time you played the mission, as this is a zone that you will visit again in your playthroughs of the Seasonal content, like The Coil and Riven’s Lair. You can also replay the quest using a different character class and pick up the collectible that way.

This Starcat can also be found playing The Coil and Riven’s Lair activities.

Destiny 2: Gnashing Chamber Starcat location

This Starcat became available during week 3 of Destiny 2 Season of the Wish, and you can find it inside the Gnashing Chamber location, also known as The Vault. If you have played The Last Wish Raid, you’ll recognize this place immediately. Otherwise, you can find it playing the weekly mission titled “Enthymeme.”

When completing the mission, progress further until you reach the Gnashing Chamber location, then look to your left from the portal, and you’ll see a table with a mantle and a cat statue. Next to said cat statue is the single Starcat for the third week.

Otherwise, you can also find this Starcat in mid-tier encounters during runs of The Coil of Riven’s Lair. It will spawn randomly, so you might have to be patient until you get the correct location.

Destiny 2: Reaver’s Orison Starcat location

This Starcat can be found during the Week 4 Destiny 2 Season of the Wish mission, Apophasis. Afterward, it can be located in the Reaver’s Orison location in the Coil or Riven’s Lair. You can find this sneaky feline hidden between the roots of one of the trees, to the right side of the hall.

Destiny 2: Spine of Keres Oracle Chamber Starcat location

During week 5 of Destiny 2 Season of the Wish, this Starcat became available, but there’s a bug that indicates its location wrongly. The real location of this Starcat is inside the Oracle Chamber, a location in the Dreaming City. Travel northwest from the Divalian Mists landing zone, then climb across the Spine of Keres until you reach the Oracle Engine building.

You’ll see a big arched door, and you need to stick to your right. Climb the stairs, and next to the Awoken Techeun, you will find this Starcat.

Destiny 2: Harbinger’s Seclude Startcat location

To find the first Week 6 Starcat in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish, you need to travel to Reahsilvia and go northeast into the Harbinger’s Seclude location. Once inside, travel forward until you reach the first circular area, then go left to the cliff, drop to the ledge, and follow your path to the right. You’ll see a taken portal, but leave that for now.

Then proceed further to the left, to a second circular chamber. Search the second opening, next to the one with the broken statue, and you’ll see the bones of the Ahamkara Muninn. Behind the skull, lies the Starcat in hiding.

Destiny 2: The Confluence Startcat location

From the previous Starcat location, you can circle back toward the portal you left behind, then traverse it into a new area. Keep moving forward until you reach a hall with a statue. Move forward and don’t deviate, keep moving straight until you reach The Confluence area.

This location is well known as it was the entrance to the Shattered Throne Dungeon. In front of the Dungeon Gate lies the Starcat you are searching for.

Destiny 2: Gardens of Esila Startcat location

The next Starcat you need for the Destiny 2 Season of the Wish triumph lies hidden behind another taken portal. To reach it, you need to travel in a straight line from The Confluence, back to where you came from. However, this time, in the first room, you’ll find an opening to your left leading to a room with a tree.

Continue through that room and follow the path to a secondary room with a taken portal. Take it and you’ll reach the Gardens of Esila area. From the portal location, turn 180 degrees, and search for a small circular plateau with a pond and a bridge. Below the bridge lies the Starcat you are looking for.

Destiny 2: Astral Cloister Starcat location

To reach the final Starcat and complete the Familiar Felines Triumph, you need to travel to the Astral Cloister, and you will reach there as part of the Week 7 mission titled ‘Chiasmus.’

Once you end the first combat phase, look to your right from the portal that just opened, and look for a Statue of a Techeun holding a sphere. At the feet of said statue lies the final Starcat.

You will need to reach the statue by jumping through the chasm to reach the final Starcat.

And those are all the Starcat locations in Destiny 2. Keep in mind that the 11th Cat located in the Cell of the Sycophant is still bugged and cannot be collected. We will update this guide when Bungie fixes the mentioned Starcats location.
