  • Solo Operative: Damage boost for Solo Players – (Grants additional 22% damage increase against all targets, including bosses. When you are the sole member of your Squad.)
  • Argent Ordnance: Firing a Rocket Launcher round consumes an Armor Charge, granting your next shot with that weapon increased damage, and also increasing its reload and stow speed.

The Queensfoil Censer Seasonal Artifact for Destiny 2 Season of the Wish is mainly focused on Solar Damage and its associated effects. Though Strand and Stasis have secondary and tertiary perks that can combo really well with Solar Builds, we will mainly focus on Solar as it is the Highlight Class of the Season.

We will take the following Artifact Perks as recommended for the Solar Build:

  • From Row 1: Piercing Sidearms, Unstoppable Hand-Cannon, and Overcharged Auto-Rifle.
  • From Row 2: Kindling Trigger and From Whence you Came.
  • From Row 3: Flint Striker, Torch, and Heart of The Flame.
  • From Row 4: Revitalizing Blast and Overload Rocket Launchers.
  • From Row 5: Rays of Precision and Argent Ordnance.

The Best Weapons for this build will include Precision Damage Solar weapons with Specialized Scorch Perks, and Rocket Launchers:

  • Any Auto Rifle with Demolitionist Perk, Lodbrock C with Cascade Point, and Demolitionist is a good option. Sidearms with Pugilist Perk and Swashbuckler like Boudica C are a great option too, plus work for Barrier Champions.
  • Zaouli’s Bane Hand Cannon (Energy Weapon) – With Fluted Barrel, Tactical Mag, Explosive Payload, and Incandescent. Weapon Mod recommended: Major Spec.
  • Ascendancy Rocket Launcher (Power Weapon) – With Chain Reaction and Ambitious Assasin Perks. The ideal option would be Dragon’s Breath if your Exotic slot is free.
  • Your Exotic weapon of choice can be either a Solar Energy slot weapon like Tarraba (Exotic SMG), or Sunshot (Exotic Hand Cannon). You can also use Polaris Lance to Maximize Rays of Precision Perk.
Sunshot Destiny 2
Sunshot will be one of the most powerful meta weapons of the season.

Having a precision weapon for mid-range like Zaouli’s Bane will trigger the combo Between Flint Striker, Torch, and Rays of Precision, dealing loads of damage to rank-and-file combatants, clearing waves, and also, dealing moderate to heavy damage to nearby Powerful foes.

If you want to go long-range, then your choices are Polaris Lance, or Battler-RX Pulse Rifle with Incandescence Perk. This will secure the activation of Rays of Precision from a safe distance, and constant recharge of your solar abilities through interaction of the intrinsic perks your Solar class has.

We recommend building to maximize Scorch and Ignition effects. For that reason, weapons like Zaouli’s Bane with heavy Solar Area damage can do loads of damage mid-range. Sunshot is an absolute game-changer if your Exotic slot is free.

Having an Auto-Rifle or Sidearm with you can secure Champion Stuns for Overload and Barrier, respectively, and also, having primary weapons with Ability Refreshing Perks like Demolitionist and Pugilist can do wonders for ability casters like Hunters and Warlocks.
