Battle royale fans will receive a major content update when Warzone integrates with Modern Warfare 3 as Season 1 kicks off. Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone’s new Fly Buy public event.

A new era for Warzone began on December 6 when the battle royale integrated with Modern Warfare 3, as players have plenty of new weapons to try out, but most importantly, they finally received the movement updates they’ve been desperate for since the original iteration.

Warzone Season 1 also introduced players to a few new features including a drivable train, overhauled Perk functionality, and the Fly Buy public event. The new public event is expected to increase survivability across Urzikstan, so let’s take a look at what Fly Buy is in Warzone.

Warzone Fly Buy public event explained

The Warzone Fly Buy public event adds more Buy Stations across Urzikstan during a match via drones.

As with most public events in Warzone, there’s no telling when or if Fly Buy will occur during a match, however, there’s a higher chance that it will occur during “late game spawn circles after the Gulag has closed or Resurgence has ended, giving players a final opportunity to buy back teammates.”

The Fly Buy public event introduces “5 or 6 drones carrying portable buy stations fly from the gas to random points inside the current circle where they drop a portable buy station.” Players can shoot these drones down early to drop the Buy Station immediately.

These Buy Stations brought onto the map by Fly Buy drones “will sell items identical to a typical buy station.”

The Fly Buy public event will be an interesting new dynamic, and there’s no telling when it will strike.

Not only will the extra Buy Stations allow teams to better prepare for the endgame, but players looking to loot and hit a Buy Station after winning their Gulag or being bought back will have a better chance to get back in the game without being targeted by enemy players.

In addition, the Fly Buy public event could also allow Duos, Trios, or Quads to buy back their dead squadmates with what should be less resistance from enemies.
