Warzone’s integration with MW3 is set for Season 1, and one of the major changes is the new always-active set of Perks for battle royale players.

Warzone is set for a huge overhaul come December 6, as MW3’s first season brings its integration into the battle royale.

The update is set to not only bring new weapons and Urzikstan but also a variety of gameplay changes, from movement to Quality of Life changes. One of the biggest QoL changes coming to Warzone with MW3 Season 1 is the new default set of Perks that every player will have once the update is live.

From Warzone Season 1’s launch, every player will gain the benefits of the following Perks by default:

  • Tac Pads
  • Commando Gloves
  • Quick-Grip Gloves
  • Climbing Boots
  • Overkill

Every player will have the effects of these Perks, making their movement faster and more fluid, allowing them to swap weapons faster, reload while running, and also carry two Primary weapons by default.

This is a huge change, as Warzone players will no longer need to get two loadouts just so that they can have their two desired Primary weapons with Ghost. It also opens up the Perk meta, as crutch Perks like Overkill are active by default, opening up the opportunity for a different Perk in its place.

Players seem to be fond of the change too, as under CharlieIntel’s X post highlighting the change one comment read, “This is amazing holy s**t,” while another said, “This is literally a W after W.”

On top of this change, there are also brand-new Perks coming to Warzone, as well as some returning favorites.

Warzone players will get their first taste of this “huge” change come December 6, but until then, check out all of the maps that will be available in the battle royale.
