Warzone players split over “easier” nuke requirement in S1 Reloaded
ActivisionWarzone players are split as the new Urzikstan Champion’s Quest makes the nuke requirement ‘easier’ in Season 1 Reloaded.
Warzone Season 1 Reloaded is just on the horizon, and as players gear up for the new content, the devs have already revealed some of the new updates to expect for the battle royale.
The Champion’s Quest in Warzone is a way for players to get a nuke in the battle royale and finish the game off. Previously, the requirement to complete the quest and get a nuke has been very difficult.
At launch, Urzikstan did not have a Champion’s Quest, but the devs have confirmed that it will be arriving in the Season 1 Reloaded update come January 17, 2024, revealing a new requirement for players to get a nuke in Warzone.
As of Warzone S1 Reloaded, players can either get five wins in a row or get 30 wins in the season in order to start the Champion’s Quest, which will likely have similar steps to what players previously had to do.
This is an alternate option from the previous five wins in a row requirement, with some on Reddit split on whether or not the new requirement is “easier.”
One user said, “This sub must think we’re all way better than we actually are if they think 30 wins is easy, I’ll be happy to end the season with 10 wins lol.”
Many agree with this, as another Warzone player also commented, “30 wins is by no means is easy for the majority of players in this game,” while another said, “This by no means make this an easy task for people… some people go an entire year and don’t even get 30 wins.”
Some in the community feel that the 30 win requirement is a fair task for the Champion’s Quest, “I’m not getting 30 wins a season but I don’t think it would be totally difficult if [your] okay with a solid team.”
“30 wins is fine,” said one player, while others actually believe the new requirement is “easier” than getting 5 wins consecutively. “I’m just saying it’s a lot more easier compared to 5 wins in a row even if in the grand scheme both are hard and time-consuming.”
The community is split, but they will be able to tackle either 30 season wins or five wins in a row in order to unlock the Champion’s Quest, which ultimately provides more chance for players to earn and complete a Champion’s Quest to get a nuke in the battle royale.
