With every new Warzone map comes a fresh Gulag experience, and despite bringing the classic map layout, players have pointed out that Urzikstan’s Gulag looks “WAY too dark.”

Warzone Urzikstan is underway, with players diving into all the new POIs and content. This includes reuniting with fan-favorite features, quality-of-life improvements, and massive movement changes, offering them a sweeping battle royale experience.

Additionally, following previous iterations, every Warzone chapter introduced a brand-new Gulag experience, changing from the layout and guns to the in-game events and features.

Even though the Gulag has been one of the most beloved additions since the game’s release, Reddit user ‘ShinyHead0’ shared that Urzikstan’s version is “way too dark,” allowing them to “sit still in a corner with a dark skin…” and avoiding enemies from noticing.

Then they followed “…my mates and it was hilarious to hide and see people looking right at you but they can’t see you… It pretty much happened every time.” Another player chimed in sharing his frustration, “Can’t see s**t. Pair that with a 75% sidewinder rate, I just go in expecting to lose each time.”

“Cant tell you how many times I and my mates have yelled “I cant see him!” This def need to be fixed,” another user added in the comments agreeing with the OP. However, despite players believing the visibility problem is critical, the Gulag’s weapon rotation makes the experience even harder.

“After the 1st shot with the sidewinder I can’t see fuck all between the iron sight and massive smoke blast in the dark,” expressed one player, indicating that the combination of low visibility and the Sidewinder is not ideal.

While Warzone has had problems with visibility, and especially with dark skins, it’s unclear whether devs will implement any changes to the Gulag. However, following previous iterations of the game, the experience usually rotates during seasons, allowing players to enjoy a different layout and more.
