Warzone bug gives Shotguns “insane” range & TTK buff
ActivisionPopular Warzone content creator Metaphor is claiming that a new bug in the battle royale is causing one of the game’s Shotguns to have an “insane” range.
Warzone is certainly not immune to bugs, and some can even make attachments stronger than intended. While the close-range is currently being dominated by SMGs such as the HRM-9 and Striker 9 given their powerful attachment combinations, Shotguns had been enjoying a period in the meta before being nerfed in Season 1 Reloaded.
That said, Metaphor is claiming that a bug is causing them to return to the meta, revealing a new Riveter Shotgun loadout that has an “insane” range and a crazy fast TTK.
Thanks to a bug with the Canted VIBRO-DOT 7 laser and Tac-Stance, the creator claims the Riverter’s bullets get turned into slugs: “It basically turns your shots into slugs, giving this gun insane range and a super fast TTK.”

- Barrel: SA Draven-20 Long Barrel
- Muzzle: XTEN Full Choke
- Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip
- Ammunition: .410 Gauge Incendiary
- Laser: Canted VIBRO-DOT 7
To kick off Metaphor’s best Warzone Riverter Shotgun loadout, the most important attachment is the Canted VIBRO-DOT 7, as this is the laser that will turn your bullets into slugs, giving the Shotgun much more range than it should.
To further improve the range and therefore TTK, the XTEN Full Choke and SA Draven-20 Long Barrel will aid the same cause, while the .410 Gauge Incendiary ammunition will provide some extra burn damage to eliminate enemies even quicker.
Metaphor says that he used to think the Riverter was bad, but “using it with these attachments make it really really good.”
