Darkness has invaded Al Mazrah in celebration of the Halloween season with the launch of The Haunting event in Warzone, and fans enjoying the new map’s night version want it to become permanently available within the game.

The Halloween season and The Haunting event have brought darkness to Al Mazrah, turning it into a battlefield filled with Zombies and other monsters players will have to face to survive.

Following a tradition that the original Warzone iteration started with Verdansk, the night map is one of the community’s favorite updates when the spooky season arrives. These versions fully change how the matches play out by modifying how the map looks and feels.

After its addition with The Haunting, fans are convinced that the Al Mazrah map “is better as a nighttime map,” and should permanently stay available in Warzone as this version.

“Al Mazrah should be permanently set to a nighttime setting. It makes rotations a bit easier and overall the ambiance of the map with the lights on buildings and streets looks great!” shared Reddit user hyperphoenix19.

Another user chimed in and added: “Night is also just better done in this game. I remember the Haunting in WZ1 was just a blue filter over the screen. It didn’t feel like night. THIS does,” comparing the original Verdansk version to Al Mazrah’s nighttime setting.

While some players may desire permanent availability, others would be satisfied by having it added to the playlist rotation: “A different variation should be its own playlist. Like dusk/dawn rotating in periodicity. And night on the weekends.”

Although it’s unlikely that Al Mazrah will be permanently changed or added as a night map, based on previous years, the community has grown fond of these versions and eagerly waits for them year after year once the Halloween season kicks off.
