MW3 Zombies: How to get Energy Mine Field Upgrade

Field Upgrades are powerful items that MW3 Zombies players can equip in their arsenals, and they offer some of the best utility in the game. From healing and shields to AOE attacks, they not only work well inside Urzikstan but they are also needed for completing missions in Call of Duty MW3 Zombies.

The Energy Mine Field upgrade is one of the best available in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, and getting it is easy, but mastering it is a different story. You won’t be able to spam it, but your exfils will be much easier with it at your disposal.

Here’s how to get, use, and charge the Energy Mine Field Upgrade in MW3 Zombies.

How to get Energy Mine Field Upgrade in MW3 Zombies

To get the Energy Mine Field Upgrade in MW3 Zombies, players must simply equip it from the Field Upgrades menu, since the item is available from the beginning and is unlocked by default at Level 1.

To properly use it, you will need to time its activation on large hordes and strong enemies, as you’ll need to charge it to use it again. Killing enemies in Urzikstan nets the charges needed, so once you see it fully charged, it’s horde-killing time.

Deploying this Field Upgrade will generate an electrical pulse that deals damage to every enemy around it. The Energy Mine is needed to complete the Mineflayer mission in MWZ, by defeating 25 zombies and 15 Mercenaries with it.

Zombies are easily found within the map, but for Mercenaries to spawn, it’s best to tackle strongholds after charging the Field Upgrade with zombie kills. After a while, you will be using it a lot and finish the mission with no issues at all.
