MW3 Horde Hunt event: Start & end date, all free rewards, more

MW3 Season 2 brings a brand-new Zombies-themed event called Horde Hunt which offers players a wide variety of free rewards. Here’s all you need to know about the Horde Hunt event in MW3, including all the rewards, dates, and more.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 has finally arrived bringing a host of content players can unlock and enjoy. This includes new maps, a roster of weapons, such as the RAM-9 SMG and BP50 Assault Rifle, several buffs and nerfs, and more.

Additionally, the update brought another event players can dive into which will allow them to earn free MWZ content by playing multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone.

If you’re wondering how to earn all these free rewards, here’s all you need to know about MW3’s Horde Hunt event.

MW3 Horde Hunt event start & end date

The MW3 Horde Hunt event kicked off alongside the Season 2 update on February 7, 2024, and is set to remain available until March 2, 2024, according to the in-game countdown.

All MW3 Horde Hunt event rewards

Different from previous events, MW3’s Horde Hunt will feature a unified mission for multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, where players must kill zombies and collect their bones to unlock Zombies Acquisitions.

Here are all the rewards available in the Modern Warfare 3 Horde Hunt event.

• Epic Aether Tool – 75 Zombie Bones
• TBA – 155 Zombie Bones
• TBA – 310 Zombie Bones 
• Epic Aether Tool – 625 Zombie Bones
• TBA –1250 Zombie Bones
• Legendary Aether Tool – 2500 Zombie Bones
• TBA – 5000 Zombie Bones
• Ray Gun Case – 10000 Zombie Bones

At the moment, some of the rewards appear to be bugged with a white square appearing instead. We’ll be sure to update the details once this is fixed.

Additionally, the event offers the Featured Zombies section which will update weekly and requires to kill special Zombies (f.e. Armored) to collect their bones and exchange the rewards.

Here are all the Featured Zombies’ challenges and rewards available as of February 7.

• “Tiny Screams” Charm – 700 Armored Zombie Bones
• “Dogs of Hell” Calling Card – TBA
• Cursed Ammo – TBA
• “Killshot” Swagger Operator Skin – Complete all the Featured Zombies challenges
