Season 5 Reloaded for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has arrived, bringing a lot of new content to the game, including three new weapons such as the Lachmann Shroud, 9mm Daemon, and the Pickaxe Melee, alongside new modes, and more.

As with almost every major update, new content is usually leaked from the game files, offering players insights into what to anticipate in forthcoming updates, and the Season 5 Reloaded update was no exception to this trend.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Diablo 4 crossover leaked

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 6 will potentially receive a crossover with Diablo 4, another of Activision’s most popular titles, according to some references found in the game files following the Season 5 Reloaded update.

Leaker COD Sploitz shared that the game files featured two icons that belong to the popular Diablo 4 characters Lilith and Butcher, suggesting these characters could be part of the Halloween event, also leaked by the game files.

In addition, leaks have also revealed that both titles could receive several collaborations, featuring characters like Masters of the Universe’s Skeletor or Hellsing’s Alucard, among others.

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s worth noting that Activision have brought content from its other titles into the game. For instance, recently both MW2 and Warzone have incorporated content from another beloved Activision title, Crash Bandicoot.

Since its first iteration, Warzone has received multiple collaborations through the game’s different integrations with premium titles that allowed players to use their favorite characters from other video games, like Tomb Raider, well-known artists, and even athletes stars within the game.

If confirmed, this would certainly be great news for Diablo 4 fans, who might have some of the game’s favored characters available within MW2 and Warzone 2.

All in all, that’s everything you need to know about the potential Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 and Diablo 4 crossover.
