Along with the Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 Reloaded update comes the 9mm Daemon, a brand-new Pistol looking to become the go-to sidearm in both games. Here’s how to unlock the 9mm Daemon in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 has already brought plenty of new weapons for players to try, with the FR Avancer and Carrack .300 arriving at the start of the season, before the M13C Assault Rifle joined the action as part of the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event.

Now, two more guns are being added as part of the mid-season update, alongside the new Lara Croft Operator skin. One of these is the 9mm Daemon, a new Pistol that could prove to be the perfect secondary in matches going forward.

Here’s how to unlock the 9mm Daemon in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded.

How to unlock 9mm Daemon in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare Season 5 Reloaded

Players can unlock the 9mm Daemon in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 Reloaded by completing the free Sector E0 of the Battle Pass, then earning 15 Operator headshot kills with Pistols.

While 15 headshots shouldn’t prove too difficult to get, Pistol kills can be tough to come by in Warzone 2 thanks to the additional armor each enemy has. With this in mind, we recommend that Modern Warfare 2 owners switch over to multiplayer and equip an Akimbo Pistol like the X12.

On a close-range map like Shipment or Shoot House, you should be able to get enough headshots to unlock the 9mm Daemon in just a few matches.

Players are spoilt for choice when it comes to Handguns in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, but the 9mm Daemon comes with a “best-in-class” fire rate and thrives when fired from the hip. Check out the devs’ official description of the Pistol from the Season 5 Reloaded blog:

“The Sidearm category grows deeper with this new addition, set to rival the P980 and X12 for the low-caliber semi-auto throne,” they said. “Whether kitted for accuracy as a sole Sidearm or done Akimbo, the 9mm Daemon is true to its name. This is a hell of a Secondary Weapon choice.”

While many players run Overkill in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 to bring along another primary weapon, the 9mm Daemon could be the ideal Pistol for those who don’t want to waste a valuable Perk slot.
