The Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded update has arrived, bringing a ton of fresh content for players to dive into. Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded, including the new weapons, Operators, and full patch notes.

The Warzone 2 Season 5 update was a hit, as players have enjoyed new weapons and content such as the FR Avancer, Carrack .300, and M13C, as well as new Operators, weapon buffs and nerfs, and more.

Players have received yet another major update for the game at the midpoint of the season, as the Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded has arrived with even more new content.

Bringing the rest of the season’s new weapons and more, here are the full patch notes for the Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded update, which arrived on August 30, 2023.

Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded new modes

Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded introduces new modes, which include the integration of a new Resurgence map into the rotation and the exciting return of a beloved mode from Warzone’s original iteration.

Fort Resurgence mode

The new Fort Resurgence mode contains a revamped map based on Al Mazrah, tailored for the smaller mode. This map is said to “include the entire Al Bagra Fortress point of interest in Al Mazrah and immediate surroundings,” according to the blog.

Season 5 Reloaded introduces Fort Resurgence with its own playlist at launch, independent from the Resurgence Ashika Island and Vondel rotation.

This marks the first time Warzone will feature three different Resurgence maps, all available at the same time within the game.

Armored Royale mode

Armored Royale is an LTM available in Quads, in which two teams must safeguard their MRAP vehicle and prevent it from being destroyed. This mode was originally introduced with the initial iteration of Call of Duty: Warzone.

Players will have the option to upgrade their MRAP, bolstering its defense and restoring its health in Gas Stations scattered across Al Mazrah. As long as the MRAP remains undamaged during the match, players should be able to redeploy after being killed.

Lara Croft

Legendary Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft will be joining Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded as an Operator “set to be available on September 9,” according to the blog.

The gaming icon will be included in the “Tracer Pack: Tomb Raider Operator Bundle.” Here’s all the unveiled cosmetic content included with Lara Croft’s bundle:

Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded new weapons

Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded has brought three new weapons: Pickaxe Melee, Lachmann Shroud SMG, and 9mm Daemon Pistol, following the introduction of the M13C Assault Rifle with MW3’s reveal event.

Pickaxe (Melee)

The Pickaxe is set to be another new Melee weapon that gives players a tool to perform “stealthy and lethal maneuvers” that boast “exceptional damage and range.”

9mm Daemon (Pistol)

Described as a “contemporary tactical 9mm pistol,” the 9mm Daemon Pistol is highly effective when fired from the hip and “features best-in-class semi-automatic fire rate.”

Lara Croft’s bundle features a 9mm Daemon Akimbo configuration called the “Mach-5,” resembling her signature companions in the Tomb Raider series.

Lachmann Shroud (SMG)

Entering the Lachmann platform is the Lachmann Shroud Submachine Gun, a 9mm close-range powerhouse equipped with burst and semi-auto fire modes, enabling significant maneuverability and stopping force even at mid-range distances.

This gun includes an integrated suppressor, particularly ideal for situations where maintaining invisibility is crucial for accomplishing the mission.

The following Weapon changes are reflected in Warzone only.

We are generally pleased with Weapon diversity and viability in Warzone. For example, the Submachine Gun category is very healthy, with a staggering six SMGs falling within a 10-percentage point difference in Kill Death Ratio at the highest skill levels. Among them, the Vaznev-9K, VEL 46, and at the top—perhaps surprisingly, the PDSW 528. While this is great news, we recognize that not all categories are enjoying that same level of competition. This update is focused on introducing further viability into the long-range engagement space. This update also includes a reduction in Launcher damage against Players. We will be monitoring their performance following the launch of Season 5 Reloaded and if they continue to be problematic anti-personnel Weapons, we will make further adjustments.
