Warzone Mobile gives players a chance to customize their HUD, including the option to use the classic layout they are used to. Here’s how to get the classic HUD in Warzone Mobile.

Warzone Mobile is finally live and it marks the first time that a mobile Call of Duty title shares progression with the main games. This, paired with the return of classic maps like Verdansk and Rebirth Island, means that plenty of console and PC players are giving the game a try.

But, if you’re new to mobile shooters, it’s easy to get confused by the sheer number of settings that can be adjusted, from graphics and audio to the controls. One of the most important elements to get right is the HUD, and the game features the classic layout from regular Warzone.

So, here’s how to get the classic HUD in Warzone Mobile.

Warzone Mobile: How to unlock classic HUD

You’ll need to download the classic HUD in Warzone Mobile using the HUD code: 9288921991643803388|default_auto|20×9. This can be done from the in-game settings menu while not in a match, but only if you’re using a controller that has been paired successfully.

There’s no need to boot up a PC or use any third-party software, so here’s everything you need to do:

  1. Pair a controller with your device.
  2. In the pre-game menus, select the ‘Settings’ menu in the top right of the screen.
  3. Press ‘Controls.’
  4. Select ‘Controls Sets’ and hit the download button on the right of the page.
  5. Clear the text box and enter the HUD code: 9288921991643803388|default_auto|20×9.
  6. You’ll find the classic layout as one of the HUD options that can be selected.

This method was shared by content creator ‘Rara’ on X, but unfortunately, there is currently no way to access the classic HUD in Warzone Mobile while using default touch controls. This is because the option to download a new layout only appears when a controller is paired.

Long-time Warzone fans will instantly recognize the setup, as all of the key information is kept in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, such as the ammo count displayed in large writing. The only slight tweak is that Lethal and Tactical Grenades and Field Upgrades are displayed under the equipped weapon, likely due to the smaller screen size.

That was everything you need to know about how to use the classic HUD in Warzone Mobile. For more, be sure to check out our other guides:
