The ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub have dominated the close-range meta in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded, but JGOD has revealed an outsider SMG that can rival the best in the game even though no one is using it.

The Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded update brought plenty of weapon balancing changes that completely overhauled the meta. Following the mid-season patch, Pistols like the X13 Auto and Basilisk became the go-to close-range options and were seen in virtually every match.

Then, the July 24 update came around to nerf the Handguns, opening the door for deadly SMGs like the ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub to reclaim their spot as the best close-quarters guns in the game.

But CoD expert JGOD has shown off a build for a slept-on SMG that he believes has what it takes to rival the best SMGs in Warzone 2, thanks to its impressive TTK.

In his July 30 video, JGOD explained that the FSS Hurricane outguns rival weapons like the PDSW, thanks to its headshot multiplier which gives it a “very fast, very competitive TTK” that puts it in the same league as the “ISO and Lachmann Sub.”

Despite having just a 0.6% pick rate on WZ Ranked, the YouTuber claimed that the FSS Hurricane has a “solid” damage range and bullet velocity, combined with a fast strafe speed that makes it feel extremely mobile. He even compared the way the SMG handles to the classic M4 Assault Rifle, one of the easier guns to use in Warzone 2.

JGOD then revealed his ideal loadout for the FSS Hurricane in Warzone 2, check it out below.

JGOD’s best FSS Hurricane loadout in Warzone 2

  • Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp
  • Laser: Schlager Peq Box IV
  • Stock: Demo Quicksilver Collapsed
  • Rear Grip: XTEN Grip
  • Ammunition: 5.7x28mm Overpressured +P

JGOD kicked off his best FSS Hurricane Warzone 2 loadout with FTAC Castle Comp muzzle, which curbs much of SMG’s recoil and makes it shoot like an Assault rifle at mid-range. He also went for the Schlager Peq Box IV, speeding up the ADS times to ensure you always land the first shot.

Next, he added the Demo Quicksilver Collapsed stock along with the XTEN Grip for even more mobility, allowing players to quickly reposition to get the drop unsuspecting enemies. Finally, JGOD chose 5.7x28mm Overpressured +P ammo for improved bullet penetration.

With this setup, the underrated FSS Hurricane has a lethal close-range TTK that sees it go toe-to-toe with some of the best guns in Warzone 2. If you’re looking for a new Sniper Support to add to your arsenal, give it a go in your next game.
