Sniper Rifles are the go-to choice in Warzone 2 for long-range engagements while maintaining some degree of stealth. And when equipped with the proper attachments, they have the potential to one-shot kill enemies. Here’s how to make a one-shot kill Sniper Rifle loadout in Warzone 2 Season 6.

Warzone 2 has an arsenal of weapons, ranging from versatile Assault Rifles for long ranges to SMGs for close-quarter domination. Additionally, Season 6 brought new weapons like the TR-76 Geist and ISO 9mm into the game, along with The Haunting limited-time event.

However, Sniper Rifles have the ability to inflict heavy damage with just a few shots and can possibly kill with one shot too. With most players sleeping on this class, you can take down enemies from extremely long ranges, while maintaining a safe distance from heavily contested areas.

With that said, here’s everything you need to know to make Sniper Rifles a one-shot kill in Warzone 2 Season 6, as well as the best loadouts to use.

Back in the game’s Season 3, the devs explained: “After testing in our Saint Patrick’s Day Event, we are adding one-hit-down Snipers to create added variety in combat playstyles. Bolt-action snipers equipped with Explosive Ammunition will be able to down enemies with one skill shot.”

Explosive ammo gives each Sniper the damage buff required to rip through a fully-plated enemy and knock them with one headshot. However, it also comes with some drawbacks, including a loss of bullet velocity, which makes shots less precise over long distances.
