Warzone 2 expert brings back popular Black Ops 2 LMG with deadly rifle loadout

Warzone 2 expert TheKoreanSavage has discovered how to build a fan-favorite Black Ops 2 LMG in Warzone 2 using a specific Battle Rifle.

There are an abundance of weapon options in Warzone 2 Season 3, as the update didn’t just introduce players to some new weapons, but it also brought buffs and nerfs to mix up the meta and bring different weapons and builds into the limelight.

Warzone 2 has many classic Call of Duty weapons such as the MP5 as the Lachmann Sub, the M4, and even the AUG. However, Warzone 2 expert and content creator TheKoreanSavage has discovered a way to make a fan-favorite Black Ops 2 LMG in the battle royale.

The HAMR was a popular LMG in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, known for its high damage and low recoil. While this weapon isn’t explicitly in Warzone 2, TheKoreanSavage claims his TAQ-V Battle Rifle loadout is “almost identical” to the HAMR from Black Ops 2.

If you’re interested in using TheKoreanSavage’s Warzone 2 HAMR TAQ-V Battle Rifle loadout, here’s the full build.

TheKoreanSavage’s Warzone 2 HAMR TAQ-V Battle Rifle loadout

  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Muzzle: Eight-Point Flash Hide
  • Underbarrel: Bipod V9 Grip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip

For this TAQ-V HAMR build, TheKoreanSavage recommends using the FSS OLE-V Laser to improve aim-down-sight and sprint-to-fire speeds, as well as the Eight-Point Flash Hide to reduce recoil and make the weapon just as steady as the fan-favorite Black Ops 2 LMG.

To mimic the HAMR’s large magazine, the 50 Round Drum mag is essential, as it allows you to keep firing the weapon and take down multiple enemies without the need to reload.

The Bipod V9 Grip will further increase the recoil steadiness, again replicating the low recoil of the Black Ops 2 HAMR. Finally, the FSS Combat Grip provides a further boost to recoil control.

Definitely make sure you give this weapon a try if you were a fan of the HAMR or even if you’re just looking for a new medium to long-range Warzone 2 loadout.
