LMGs are a very dominant weapon category in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, but which is the best? Here’s every Warzone 2 LMG ranked in Season 1 Reloaded.
There are many great long-range options in Warzone 2, but Snipers tend to steal the limelight. That said, LMGs are extremely dominant in Warzone 2 and have become a very popular weapon category in the game, with many taking advantage of their power.
For those looking to use an LMG, but are unsure of which to go with, here’s our guide to the best LMGs in Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded, ranking them all from best to worst.
Best Warzone 2 LMGs ranked list
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has six LMGs in Season 1 Reloaded, so if you’re struggling to decide which one to use, here’s all of them ranked from best to worst:
- RAAL MG
- Sakin MG38
- RAPP H
- 556 Icarus
- HCR 56
Best Warzone 2 LMGs
6. HCR 56
The HCR 56 is not necessarily a bad weapon in Warzone 2, but out of all of the LMGs, it’s the weakest link. This is mainly because other weapons in the category are superior when it comes to the LMG category’s main appeal, which is damage and fire rate.
5. 556 Icarus
The 556 Icarus is a versatile LMG and it’s a great option for those who would prefer a more Assault Rifle-like LMG in Warzone 2. This LMG has a great fire rate, recoil control, mobility, and handling, making it a great option for those who aren’t fans of heavy LMGs.
However, it lacks damage and accuracy across long ranges, hence its position on the list.
4. RAPP H
The RAPP H has the fastest fire rate out of all the LMGs in Warzone 2, and that’s its main appeal. Similarly to the 556 Icarus, the RAPP H is extremely versatile thanks to its fire rate, but it beats it in range, which just gives it the edge on Al Mazrah’s long-range sights.
3. Sakin MG38
The Sakin MG38 gained some attention in Season 1, becoming one of the best long-range options in Warzone 2. With great damage, range, and easy-to-control recoil, the Sakin MG38 is an absolute monster.
Its biggest drawback is its mobility and handling, but those can be balanced out with the correct attachments, and the massive base magazine of 100 rounds more than compensates.
2. RAAL MG
In second place, the RAAL MG offers pretty much everything you’d want in an LMG for Warzone 2. The RAAL MG has best-in-class damage and accuracy, which is essential when engaged in long-range combat.
With the correct attachments, the RAAL also has very smooth recoil, meaning you can stay on target easily.
1. RPK – Best LMG in Warzone
The best LMG in Warzone 2 is no doubt the RPK, which may be a bit of a grind to unlock, but is well worth the work thanks to its unbelievable versatility. Whether you’d like a heavy LMG or more of an Assault Rifle build, the RPK can do either, catering to the player.
The RPK is something of an all-rounder in Warzone 2, with incredible balance in damage, range, fire rate, accuracy, and recoil control, making it the best LMG in Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded.
