Swagg explains how new Season 3 Battle Rifle brings classic AR to Warzone 2
The Warzone 2 Season 3 update delivered two new weapons, and Kris ‘FaZe Swagg’ Lamberson believes that one has marked the return of a fan-favorite weapon from Warzone 1.
There are many weapons in Warzone 2 Season 3, with each season bringing new ones. Some are classics like the M4 and the MP5, while others are completely new to the series such as the ISO Hemlock and Tempus Torrent.
While Warzone 2 provided players with a load of new exciting weapons, many are still reminiscing about popular guns from Warzone 1.
Luckily, FaZe Swagg believes he’s built a Warzone 2 loadout that is very similar to the RAM-7, a popular Assault Rifle from WZ1. The weapon Swagg believes can be built to perform similarly to the RAM-7 is the new Cronen Squall, a Battle Rifle that is reminiscent of the AR when used in full auto.
Swagg states that it has the “same kind of recoil pattern, it has the same almost feel to it…even the look of it.”

- Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Underbarrel: Demo Firm Grip
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Optic: Aim OP-V4
To start this Warzone 2 Cronen Squall RAM-7 loadout, FaZe Swagg goes with the HR6.8 Barrel for the increase in damage range and bullet velocity, as well as recoil control.
Next up, the Sakin Tread-40 helps greatly when it comes to recoil control, aiding both horizontal and vertical recoil. The Demo Firm Grip underbarrel also provides some stability.
As for the magazine, the 50 Round Drum will supply you with more than enough bullets when taking on squads with the Cronen Squall, and finally, the Aim OP-V4 optic is a nice clean sight with just enough zoom for those longer-ranged battles.
As well as comparing its likeness to the RAM-7, FaZe Swagg also states that it’s the “fastest killing gun in Warzone, right now,” so it’s definitely worth trying out.
