Warzone 2 expert FaZe Booya’s unique “SMG” Tempus Torrent loadout dominates Ashika Island
Warzone 2 expert FaZe Booya has showcased a deadly build for the Tempus Torrent that allows the Marksman Rifle to function like an SMG when playing on Ashika Island.
When the Season 2 Reloaded update went live in Warzone 2, it brought significant changes to the Call of Duty title that impacted its meta, including the introduction of the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle.
This weapon is an extremely effective choice for long-range combat encounters, and Call of Duty guru FaZe Booya has revealed how Warzone 2 players can also take advantage of it in close-range battles.
After having tried it out in long-range battles, Booya wanted to test the close-range capabilities of the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle, and he described the weapon’s performance as being similar to that of an SMG.
He was impressed with how effectively the Marksman Rifle could dispatch enemies up close, calling it “amazing” on Ashika Island. The Warzone 2 expert stated: “You get headshots up close with this thing, it’s just absolutely prize.”

FaZe Booya’s Tempus Torrent loadout uses the Demo Fade Pro Stock to improve the Marksman Rifle’s mobility by buffing the aim walking speed and sprint speed. This lets it maneuver like an SMG in fast-paced battles.
The 12.5″ Rugged ZN barrel and Merc Foregrip underbarrel buff the weapon’s recoil control and steadiness so that you can easily lock onto targets. You can then use the precision sight picture of the Cronen Mini Pro optic to pick off enemies.
Finally, FaZe Booya picked the 30 Round Mag so that the Tempus Torrent has enough ammo to eliminate multiple foes before reloading. With these attachments, the Marksman Rifle will be as effective as an SMG in close-range battles.
