Modern Warfare 2 players are reacting to the new GS Magna pistol introduced in Season 3 Reloaded, expressing some strong opinions about the “stupid” Secondary weapon.

Like any new update, Season 3 Reloaded for both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 introduced a heap of new content for players, from a Ranked Play mode for the battle royale, to a new multiplayer map and weapons.

As well as the FTAC Siege, the Season 3 Reloaded update also brought another new pistol in the GS Magna. This pistol is extremely interesting, as it’s essentially a fully automatic .50 GS.

This new weapon has kicked up a bit of a stir in the Modern Warfare 2 community, with many questioning the dev’s decision behind the creation and introduction of a fully automatic Desert Eagle.

In the MW2 subreddit, one post shared a video of the GS Magna in the Firing Range along with the caption “these things are so stupid.” In the clip, the user shows the hectic nature of the GS Magna in akimbo, as the two pistols rapidly fire toward the target, missing almost all of the bullets.

Many in the comments found this quite amusing, as one user made a joke about the Operator suffering from a “wrist fracture.” Further, another comment called the akimbo GS Magnas “dumb and dumber.”

The clip even led some to question the devs, calling it “by far the laziest thing” they’ve seen the devs do and also questioning its nature as new content: “All they did was recolor/texture the deagle then changed the script file from “single” to “auto”.”

Despite player reactions, the GS Magna is here to stay, and while it may not be the most accurate weapon in akimbo, you may find more luck with our best loadout for the new Secondary pistol.
