Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded introduces a new Party Queuing feature to make partying up even easier, so here’s how it works.

With Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play live and a brand-new Raid arriving in Season 2 Reloaded, teaming up can make or break. The devs have been introducing new quality-of-life social features in recent updates, with March 15’s Season 2 Reloaded bringing the new Party Queueing feature.

What is Party Queuing in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2?

Party Queueing is a new feature arriving in Season 2 Reloaded that allows Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 players to automatically join a friend’s party as soon as their match has finished.

When queued to join the party, you’ll “wait in the hanger bay pre-match lobby until that specific friend is done with their match,” then immediately join the lobby ahead of the next match.

Although not in the same match, you’ll be a fully-fledged member of the party who can use both voice and text chat while you wait.

If you join a squad of three who are currently playing Battle Royale Trios, then they won’t be able to use the Play Again feature because the party size will be over the limit.

Party Queuing makes teaming up much easier.

How to use Party Queuing in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2

The Party Queuing feature will be available through the in-game social menu, in the same way as you’d regularly invite a player or join their party in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

The feature isn’t live until the Season 2 Reloaded update on March 15, but it should be extremely straightforward to use.
