New Apex Legends leaks are suggesting that players will be able to call upon the Spectres from Titanfall as controllably NPC allies in Season 13.

Apex Legends Season 12 features plenty of fun content for players to enjoy, including the addition of the Legend Mad Maggie and the extremely popular Control LTM. Now, players are looking ahead to what the devs have planned for Season 13.

There’s a ton of anticipation for all the new content that will arrive in the next seasonal update, and now some new leaks are claiming that Respawn will be adding elements from the Titanfall series to Apex Legends.

According to Apex Legends data miner ‘Shrugtal,’ the Command Center POI and other screens on the Storm Point map are teasing the arrival of the Spectres from Titanfall as controllable allies in Season 13.

In the Titanfall series, Spectres are robotic minions that can be hacked and made into allies that will fight for your side. It seems that Respawn are planning to bring that feature to Apex Legends, as the leaker claims to have found code that was added to support NPCs.

This new addition may have a great impact on the gameplay experience of Apex Legends. Shrutgal explained that this is “likely going to be a POI feature where you can interact with some control panels to gain them as temporary allies.”

At the time of writing, no further details have been revealed about the addition of these new allies in Apex Legends. It remains to be seen whether or not this will be a permanent change for Season 13.

While this Apex Legends data miner has proven to be reliable before, it’s worth keeping in mind that this information has yet to be verified by Respawn Entertainment themselves, so take it with a grain of salt.
