Who is Apex Legends’ Alter?

Alter is the new Legend for Apex Legends Season 21: Upheaval. According to the Season 21 blog, Alter is a “trickster with an unknown past” who can create chaos with portals.

Alter’s abilities are all about getting in and out, the perfect Skirmisher Legend for those who like to play fast and aggressive.

Here are all of Alter’s abilities and upgrades in Apex Legends Season 21:

Passive – Gift from the Rift
- Can remotely interact with a deathbox to claim one item – but not armor.
Tactical – Void Passage
- Creates a portal passageway through a surface.
Ultimate – Void Nexus
- Create a regroup point that all allies can remotely interact with to open a phase tunnel back to that location.

Apex Legends Alter ability upgrades

Here’s a complete breakdown of Alter’s ability upgrades, which you can pick from after reaching Level 2 and Level 3 Level-Up Armor:

Level 2 Upgrades
Ultimate Cooldown	Reduce Ultimate cooldown by 30s.
Void Vision	Extend highlights and see health bars after exiting Tactical.
Level 3 Upgrades
Eternal Nexus	Void Nexus no longer times out.
Tactical Cooldown+	Reduce Tactical cooldown by 10s.

As you can see, she shares void abilities like Wraith, using portals to grab items from death boxes, pass through walls and ceilings, and also help the team to regroup in a safe location with her Ultimate ability.
