Apex Legends’ new 3v3 Arenas mode is getting a slight update today, replacing Artillery with World’s Edge POI Thermal Station.

Apex Legends 3v3 Arenas mode has only been out for two weeks, and players have already found the best Legends, weapons, and strategies.

It seems Respawn Entertainment has seen the success Arenas has been having and want to keep it fresh by replacing one of the maps with a familiar World’s Edge POI.

Respawn let players know over on Twitter that they had just released an update that change two things:

  • treasure packs are now available in Arenas
  • Thermal Station is replacing Artillery in the Arenas map rotation

Players who have been enjoying Arenas even more so than the battle royale will be happy to know that they now won’t be missing out on the daily Treasure packs, as players can now find them in the loot bins on Arenas.

Although this is a fairly small change, it shows that Respawn is dedicated to making Arenas a part of Apex legends as the original battle mode.

Apex Legends Arenas update: Thermal Station

The more interesting part of the update is the introduction of World’s Edge POI Thermal Station into the Arenas map rotation.

Thermal Station will be replacing Artillery, and it seems they will also be updating the map rotation every two weeks.

Both Party Crasher and Phase Runner will remain in the rotation, most likely because they are new, Arenas exclusive maps. Perhaps the two-week rotation will be replacing the maps that are already POIs in the battle royale mode, as we are still yet to see Gardens, which was shown in the Arenas reveal trailer.

That’s it for the latest Apex Legends update for the Arenas game mode.
