Grenade Launchers can be incredibly powerful tools in Warzone 2, and CoD guru Metaphor has revealed a deadly RGL-80 tactic to help you dominate matches on Al Mazrah.

There’s no shortage of different weapons in Warzone 2, all of which are ideal for different combat situations. LMGs and Sniper Rifles are perfect for picking off enemies at a distance, while SMGs can melt teams at close-range.

However, sometimes you need something that packs a little more punch to help you out of a tight situation. This is where Launchers come into play, capable of eliminating entire squads in just a couple of shots.

Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has taken things one step further by showing off a devastatingly simple RGL-80 Grenade Launcher tactic that’s almost unstoppable.

In an upload to his channel, the YouTuber revealed how easy it is to burn through enemy players, simply by stacking multiple Munitions Boxes, essentially giving you unlimited grenades so long as you keep stocking up on the Field Upgrades.

In the clip, Metaphor explained that he got the RGL-80 from the first crate he opened, before buying multiple boxes and going on to “terrorize” the rest of the lobby. Using the Grenade Launcher, he was able to send fully-plated players to the Gulag in just two quickfire shots.

“All you have to do is buy a bunch of Muni Boxes and manage your inventory properly, and you can just murder everybody,” Metaphor said. “This is actually an OP strat in Solos.”

He also mentioned that the tactic is ideal for many different situations, thanks to the RGL-80’s ability to fire follow-up shots much faster than an RPG or other Launchers.

“There is not much people can do about it. If you run into an RSB they’re gonna die, if you run into a camper they’re gonna die, if you run into a car they’re gonna die. Anything anyone does – they’re dead.”

Unfortunately, the RGL-80 can only be unlocked through Building 21 in DMZ, and there is no way to add it to your Warzone 2 loadout. However, it does feature in battle royale matches as an extremely rare piece of ground loot.

So, although this isn’t a strategy that can be spammed in every game, deploying it if you’re lucky enough to find a Grenade Launcher could completely turn the tide of a match.
