A Starfield player revealed how they’ve been using The Lodge to store tons of items, and their framerate drops so much it resembles a slideshow.

Starfield is as much a spacefaring RPG as it is an inventory management simulator. You need different types of items, often in large quantities, for almost everything. With these, you can upgrade your ships, suits and armor, build outposts, and more.

Starfield players often find themselves over-encumbered when carrying so many items, which is why they prefer to store them somewhere. Now, a Redditor named ‘mrpickle123’ shared how they store all their items at The Lodge, Constellation‘s headquarters.

In a video shared by the OP, you can see a pile of items inside The Lodge, making it look like a garbage dump. They then use a Microgun to start shooting into the pile.

The OP explains, “I wanted to do NG+ but after 100+ hours of painstakingly collecting and selling items I’d amassed quite a hoard.” They’ve “also been collecting fire extinguishers since the beginning of the game with the intent to just blow them up as a sendoff.”

The OP also decided to add their weapons, armor, and everything else into the pile, before shooting into it. In the end, their Starfield character dies as the items in the pile eventually crush them.

One user added that if the OP adds any more items, their Xbox will explode, while another stated that it’s already on fire. Meanwhile, another player wrote that the meme potential in Starfield is what makes it “a Bethesda game for real.”

After all the Xbox memes, one player stated that they did something similar in Morrowind on the original Xbox. The OP replied that they’ve been doing this in every Bethesda game.

Despite what ‘mrpickle123’ did, The Lodge is indeed a good location for storing all your items in Starfield. However, as one user pointed out, you should put all your items “in the storage box by the research stations” and not all over the floor.
