Skill Magazines Starfield

Skill Magazines are classic collectibles that can be found across Starfield’s vast galaxy. Here are all the Skill Magazines you can find in Starfield, along with their locations and their permanent bonuses.

Starfield introduces players to a huge galaxy with over 1,000 planets to explore, besides building settlements and completing quests. While traveling, they will also find a bunch of curious loot, such as Skill Magazines, which provide permanent buffs for combat, carrying capacity, vendor prices, and more.

Skill Magazines are a staple collectible of Bethesda’s titles, and they work as they did in the Fallout franchise. Since there’s a bunch of them spread all over the galaxy, here’s a list of every Skill Magazine in Starfield, including their locations and the permanent buffs they provide.

How do Skill Magazines work in Starfield?

Skill Magazines in Starfield grant permanent buffs to your characters by simply grabbing them from their location and adding them to your inventory. They weigh 0.0 Mass, meaning they do not encumber you, and you can carry as many as you like in your Inventory.

Keep in mind that some Skill Magazine buffs impact your companions, and some don’t. At the very least, there is no official confirmation about how this mechanic works.

It is also worth mentioning that some Skill Magazine locations spawn randomly at different planets and systems, or at least, have several spawn locations.

Skill Magazine in Starfield
Skill Magazines can be found almost everywhere, so keep your eyes peeled.

All Starfield Skill Magazines location & buffs
