Pokemon Go players had the chance to access the Wish Granted Masterwork Research through the in-game store for $4.99.

Wish Granted was available for purchase from Monday, February 20, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT until Monday, March 20, 2023, at 10 AM PT. This ticketed Masterwork Research was nonrefundable. It is unknown if this Research will become available again in the future.

Stage 1 of 6

  • Catch 385 Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region – 385 XP
  • Catch 385 Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region – 385 XP
  • Catch 385 Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region – 385 XP
  • Earn a gold Hoenn Medal – 30 Ultra Balls

Completion rewards: 10 Kyogre Candy, 10 Groudon Candy, and 10 Rayquaza Candy

Stage 2 of 6

  • Have 10 Best Buddies – 1 Poffin
  • Earn a heart with your Buddy for 20 days in a row – 1 Poffin

Completion rewards: 385 XP and 3 Rare Candies

Stage 3 of 6

  • Catch 10 Kecleon – 1 Incense
  • Spin a PokeStop 20 days in a row – 1 Incense

Completion rewards: 3850 XP and 3 Rare Candy

Stage 4 of 6

  • Obtain a Lucky Pokemon in a Trade – 1 Lure Module
  • Make 385 Excellent Throws – 1 Lucky Egg

Stage 5 of 6

  • Catch 1000 Pokemon – 1000 Stardust
  • Catch a Pokemon 7 days in a row – 7 Golden Razz berries
  • Reach level 40 – 4000 Stardust

  • Claim reward – 1 Star Piece
  • Claim reward – 1 Lucky Egg

How to get shiny Jirachi in Pokemon Go

The only way to get shiny Jirachi in Pokemon Go is by going through the whole Wish Granted Masterwork Research. Players had the chance to purchase the Research ticket in the in-game shop to add this mythical Pokemon to their collection.

After completing all stages and their tasks, players will encounter shiny Jirachi with a chance to catch it. It is yet unknown if players will be able to encounter shiny Jirachi in the wild sometime in the future, which means the Masterwork Research is the only guaranteed method so far.
