Pokemon Go Sinnoh Tour Global is catching fire, and players want to know all about this cool event. And one of the choices you can take is about Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup. Here’s who you should pick during this Special Research Quest.

Pokemon Go is on a roll, and about to say farewell to Timeless Travels, closing the season with the Sinnoh Tour Global event. And during this event, there’s a new Special Research quest titled It’s about Time and Space.

But players need to choose one of three paths, and we have put up a guide with every possible pathway and the different tasks that might pop up, so you can pick whichever is good for you.

So here’s all you need to know about the new Special Research quest It’s about Time and Space, including whether to pick Chimchar, Turtwig, or Piplup.

Pokemon Go Diamond and Pearl paths explained

The Origin forms of Dialga and Palkia have different Adventure Effect powers.

Pokemon Go players can pick either the Diamond or Pearl badge that will determine some of the rewards of the Sinnoh Global Tour event, and affect the steps of this Special Research quest.

The biggest change will be that players need to choose between Dialga and Palkia to earn their respective Adventure Effects.

Trainers will also get different encounters depending on the path chosen, and here’s the difference between Diamond and Pearl:

  • Diamond: Reward Encounter with Shadow Scizor and Shadow Honchkrow. Final rewards: Dialga Candy.
  • Pearl: Reward Encounter with Shadow Pinsir, and Shadow Mismagius. Final rewards: Palkia Candy.

You will either be tasked to capture either Dialga or Palkia at some point of the research, so keep that in mind when you choose a path.

Pokemon Go Chimchar, Turtwig or Piplup: Which path to choose?

The Sinnoh Starters are some of the most popular Pokemon in the franchise.

Depending on which of the starters Pokemon Go trainers choose during the new Special Research quest It’s about Time and Space, they alter the first Reward encounter and will be granted a chance to capture: Shadow Chimchar, Shadow Turtwig, or Shadow Piplup.

The rest of the steps to earn the rewards are mostly the same, though, if you pick Diamond or Pearl, there are some changes, and the difference between them is detailed below.
