Pokemon Go Tour: Sinnoh is getting closer, so Niantic announced a new special event so players can get ready for the in-person and global celebrations. Pokemon Go Road to Sinnoh will focus on Gen 4 creatures, giving players the chance to stock up on items and Candy they’ll need for the big event.

Pokemon Go Road to Sinnoh event dates
The Pokemon Go Road to Sinnoh event will take place from Monday, February 19, 2024, at 10 AM to Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10 PM (local time).
The Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Live event will run from February 17 to February 18, 2024, while the Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global event will take place between February 24 and February 25, 2024. This means players will get this new event in-between to make the most out of the Global celebrations.
Pokemon Go Road to Sinnoh paid tickets
Pokemon Go players that participate in the Go Tour Sinnoh Global event can purchase different tickets to enjoy special bonuses during that weekend. Here are all the Road to Sinnoh tickets and their benefits:
Road to Sinnoh: Raids
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), players can access an event-exclusive Timed Research for the following rewards:
- 10 Dialga Candy
- 10 Palkia Candy
- 5 Heatran Candy XL
- 5 Giratina Candy XL
- 5 Cresselia Candy XL
- 5 Darkrai Candy XL
- Eevee Fan Mask
Additionally, trainers who purchase the Road to Sinnoh: Raids ticket will get the following bonuses:
- Additional 5,000 XP from completed Raids
- 1 additional Candy awarded for catching Pokemon in Raids
- 2 additional Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms each day
Road to Sinnoh: Hatch
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), players can access a different event-exclusive Timed Research for the following encounters:
- Pachirisu*
- Chatot*
- Carnivine*
The Timed Research also rewards players with the Pikachu Fan Mask avatar item. On the other hand, those who purchase the Road to Sinnoh: Hatch ticket will get the following bonuses:
- 2x Hatch XP
- 2x Hatch Candy
- 2x Hatch Stardust
These tickets will be available for purchase from Monday, February 19, 2024, at 10 AM to Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 6 PM (local time). It’s worth noting that players can purchase either one or both of these tickets. All tasks must be completed and all rewards must be claimed before Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 8 PM (local time).

NianticPokemon Go Road to Sinnoh Field & Timed Research
Pokemon Go players can tackle different Timed and Field Research tasks during the Road to Sinnoh event.
Trainers who spin PokeStops during the event will get event-themed Field Research tasks. Completing them can reward players with useful items for Go Tour Sinnoh.
On the other hand, completing Timed Research tasks will rewards players with encounters with Heatran, Origin Forme Giratina, Cresselia, and Darkrai.
Pokemon Go Road to Sinnoh event bonuses
The Pokemon Go Road to Sinnoh event will feature the following bonuses:
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
- The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 10 from Monday, February 19 to Thursday, February 22, 2024.
- There will be no limit on Remote Raids from Friday, February 23 to Sunday, February 25, 2024.
