Pokemon Go player shares frustrating “mistake” to avoid while collecting Zygarde Cells
NianticFinding Zygarde Cells is one of the challenging tasks in Pokemon Go. As the community tries to collect all Cells to get the elusive Zygarde, a player has revealed a mistake that could lay all the grinding to “waste.”
Routes is one of the most important features added to Pokemon Go in 2023 as it lets players explore various locations, collect Zygarde Cells, and get all forms of Zygarde, one of the best Pokemon in the game.
Since finding and creating Routes has become easier for the community, they are leaving no stone unturned to get 250 Zygarde Cells and unlock all Zygarde forms.
But when a player’s grind for these Cells led to an unexpected twist, it brought to light a mistake that everyone should be careful to avoid as they search for these rare assets.
User ‘bashford427’ created a post on TheSilphRoad subreddit that highlighted their efforts to gather 300 Zygarde Cells in Pokemon Go. The player, who had added all Zygarde forms to their Pokedex, had 250 Cells and was shocked to discover that they couldn’t break past the 250 Cells cap the next day.
The OP urged players to be mindful of their Cell collection as they wrote, “PSA: you can ONLY hold 250 Zygarde cells maximum” and added: “Don’t make the same mistake I did and waste a day’s worth of Cells by going over!”
The post invited a lot of comments from users who thanked the OP for the heads-up while jokingly mentioning that they’re far from getting 250 Zygarde Cells.
But aside from the humor, users agreed that “not letting players store more than 250 is silly” and requested for a “Zygarde Cube Storage Upgrade” to be included in the in-game shop of Pokemon Go.
As players continue their pursuit of Zygarde Cells and are assured that they are “never gonna make that mistake,” many hinted at the possibility of Zygarde being more accessible in the future.
“There will be future ones. First, there will be the shiny, maybe a Shadow one… and maybe other opportunities to get normal ones (from raids like Hoopa),” a player explained, while another added: ” I’m guessing they’ll release a Raid or task or paywall to get another/more in the future.”
