The Phantump Spotlight Hour takes place on October 24, 2023, from 6 PM to 7 PM (local time) in Pokemon Go.
During this event, Phantump will spawn everywhere in large numbers, and you can catch as many as you want.
Is shiny Phantump available in Pokemon Go?
Yes, shiny Phantump is available in Pokemon Go. Luckily for players, the shiny version of the Stump Pokemon debuted with this year’s Halloween event.
With so many spawns during the Spotlight Hour event, it is a great time to go shiny hunting but players need to keep in mind that shiny rates will not be boosted during the event.
Pokemon Go Phantump Spotlight Hour bonus
You can enjoy a bonus of 2x XP for catching Pokemon from every species you capture during the Pokemon Go Phantump Spotlight Hour. You can increase this bonus by activating one or two Lucky Eggs during the Spotlight Hour.

Phantump evolves into Trevenant with 200 Candy or by trading with a friend in Pokemon Go.
If you are able to trade a Phantump, you can evolve it without any Candy. Alternatively, you can use Pinap and Silver Pinap Berries to collect more Candy during this week’s Spotlight Hour.

Since the Pokemon Go Phantump Spotlight Hour event lasts for only an hour, here are some tips to help you prepare for the event:
- Use PokeCoins to buy Incense and get additional spawns during the event.
- Make sure you have enough space in your Pokemon Storage Box to catch as many Phantump as you want.
- Keep your Poke Balls stocked up to catch large numbers of Phantump.
- Use a Lucky Egg to add to earn boosted XP during the event.
- Pinap Berries can help you get enough Candy to evolve Phantump quickly.
