A new Research Day has been announced for the World of Wonders season in Pokemon Go, giving players the chance to catch and power up many Flying-type species.

Pokemon Go Flock Together Research Day date & time
The Pokemon Go Flock Together Research Day will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.
The event will arrive right after Rivals Week 2024 and a new edition of Go Battle Weekend. These events give players the chance to catch many different species that aren’t always around in the game.
Pokemon Go Flock Together Research Day wild encounters
The following species will appear more frequently in the wild during the Flock Together Research Day in Pokemon Go:
- Pidgey
- Murkrow
- Wingull
- Starly
- Pidove
- Fletchling
All featured Pokemon can be shiny in Pokemon Go, so be on the lookout.
Pokemon Go Flock Together Research Day Field & Timed Research
Pokemon Go players that spin PokeStops during the Flock Together Research Day will get event-themed Field Research tasks to earn encounters with Spearow, Doduo, Hoothoot, Taillow, or Rufflet.
Additionally, for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the event-exclusive Timed Research to get more encounters with those featured species. Since it’s a Timed Research, trainers need to complete all tasks and claim all rewards before Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 5 PM local time.
