Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream debut & wild encounters

After its debut in 2023, Cutiefly will get its shiny version in Pokemon Go starting with the Dazzling Dream event. The Bee Fly Pokemon will spawn in the wild, and trainers will get the chance to catch a shiny one if they’re lucky.

The Dazzling Dream event will focus on Fairy-type Pokemon, and these species will appear more frequently in the wild:

  • Clefairy
  • Jigglypuff
  • Marill
  • Snubbull
  • Cottonee

  • Yellow Flower Flabébé (Americas)
  • Spritzee
  • Swirlix

All Pokemon listed above can be shiny in Pokemon Go, except for Flabébé. On the other hand, players all around the world will be able to encounter White Flower Flabébé and Orange Flower Flabébé, no matter what region they’re in.

The following Pokemon will hatch from 7 km Eggs during the Dazzling Dream event:

Cutiefly hatched from Eggs will have a greater chance of being shiny than those found in the wild, so keep that in mind.

Pokemon Go players can tackle different Timed and Field Research tasks during the Dazzling Dream event.

On the other hand, Pokemon Go players can buy a ticket for the event-themed Timed Research for US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Completing these Research tasks will grant trainers Premium Battle Passes, XP, Stardust, two Star Pieces, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.

Those who buy the Timed Research ticket will need to complete all tasks and claim all rewards before January 16, 2024, at 8 PM (local time).
