Pokemon Go is bursting with events and a new Go Battle Day featuring Palmer has been announced. We’ll cover everything you need to know, including start time, bonuses, and more.

The Pokemon Go season continues to celebrate different themed events for players all around the world. In addition to the Let’s Go event and the new Team Go Rocket takeover, competitive players can take part in a new Go Battle Day.

Trainers have a chance to get interesting rewards while honing their skills battling other players. So here’s everything you need to know about the next Pokemon Go Battle Day: Palmer, including start time, Timed Research tasks, and more.

Pokemon Go Battle Day: Palmer date & time

The Go Battle Day: Palmer event will run on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12 AM to 11:59 PM local time in Pokemon Go. Players have a whole day to battle other trainers for a chance at getting the event’s rewards.

Trainers can earn Palmer’s gloves during the Go Battle Day: Palmer event.

Pokemon Go Battle Day: Palmer Bonuses

During Go Battle Day: Palmer, Pokemon Go players can enjoy the following bonuses:

  • 4x Stardust from win rewards.
  • The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles.

Do note that the Stardust rewards don’t include the end-of-set rewards and will not stack with the 3x Stardust bonus from Master League rotation weeks, according to the official Pokemon Go blog.

Pokemon Go Battle Day: Palmer Timed Research tasks & rewards

An event-themed Timed Research will be available for free for all Pokemon Go players during the Go Battle Day: Palmer event. Here’s the full list of tasks and rewards:

Battle in the GO Battle League 5 times7500 XP
Battle in the GO Battle League 10 times7500 XP
Use 10 Super Effective Charged Attacks7500 XP
Power up Pokémon 10 times7500 XP

Completion Reward: 3 Rare Candies, 1 Elite Charged TM, and Palmer’s gloves (Avatar Item).

Niantic revealed that players that already earned Palmer’s gloves as a Rank 20 reward won’t get another pair during the event. The rest of Palmer’s avatar items can be redeemed by reaching Ace, Veteran, Expert, and Legend ranks this season.
