Pokemon Go fans are looking to catch all the available Psychic-type species in the Psychic Spectacular event and they’re wondering how to get the elusive Espurr. So here are all the details about getting Espurr in Pokemon Go, including its shiny availability.

The Psychic Spectacular 2023 event has taken Pokemon Go by storm as players are in search of the rarest and the best Psychic-type species in the game.

But there’s one particular Pokemon that many have yet to capture and that’s Espurr, a popular Gen 6 species.

Espurr is no longer available in the 10km Egg pool so everyone is curious to know how they can catch it in the mobile game. Also, they are eager to find out if shiny Espurr is up for grabs.

Here are all the details on getting Espurr in Pokemon Go and if its shiny version is available.

How to catch Espurr in Pokemon Go

You can get Espurr in Pokemon Go by defeating it in 1-Star Raid Battles during the Psychic Spectacular 2023 event that runs until September 24, 2023, at 8 PM local time.

Players should note that Espurr is currently raid-locked and trading is the only other way to get it in the game.

Since Espurr is a Psychic-type Pokemon, you can use Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type counters to beat the Raid.

Can Espurr be shiny in Pokemon Go?

Yes, shiny Espurr is available in Pokemon Go.

Lucky players can get shiny Espurr as an encounter after beating it in its Raid Battle.
