How to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna in Pokemon Go

In Pokemon Go, Ursaring can evolve into Ursaluna by spending 100 Teddiursa Candy on a full moon night.

Players should be able to see the full moon in the sky on the Map view of Pokemon Go. While the full moon should show up on the same day it does in the real world, players reported it can take a few days to actually happen.

If the full moon is active in the game, players can tap the evolve button to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna. There are some limitations to this, however, since some players weren’t able to evolve Shiny, Shadow, or Purified Ursaring in the past.

When is the next full moon in Pokemon Go?

The next full moon should appear in Pokemon Go around May 5, 2023. As we mentioned, this could take a few more days to show up in-game.

Players suspect this is not a feature that’s synced with the real-world calendar, but something developers can turn on and off whenever they want. So trainers looking to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna soon should keep an eye for a few days after that date.
