Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced players to one of the biggest adventures in the franchise. There’s a lot to do in Paldea while exploring the open-world, so here’s how long it takes to beat the main story in Scarlet & Violet.

The new adventures in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet take players to the open wilds of the Paldea region with a lot of stuff to do. From challenging the Gym Leaders, and battling Titan Pokemon, to beating every single member of Team Star, Pokemon’s latest game offers tons of content to complete.

By mixing the Legends Arceus open map formula, and adding the classic turn-based battle system, Scarlet & Violet will require hours of work. If you are aiming to tackle its DLC, or just want to earn the completionist feeling, here’s how long it takes to finish Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Gym Leaders aren’t the only challenge in Paldea.

Beating Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will take about 32 hours if you are focusing solely on the main objectives. If you want to discover every nook and cranny Paldea has in store, you are aiming for almost 80 hours for a completionist run.

The completionist run includes catching every single Pokemon in the Paldea region, including Legendaries and regional forms. Keep in mind that this includes taking on the different Academy classes, catching all Paradox Pokemon in Area Zero, and unlocking the most powerful Tera Raid battles.

Of course, difficulty will be based on your team’s strength and many other factors that might add up to your Paldean adventure. There’s a lot to explore, see, and catch, so take your time and prepare for the future challenges Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC will present.
