Pokemon Go is not short on special evolution methods, and some species require players to complete certain tasks before they can evolve. So, here’s all you need to know about Buddy Tasks in Niantic’s mobile game.

In Pokemon Go, you can adventure around with a Buddy creature by your side, earning Candy to further improve its strengths and, if possible, evolve it. Some species use this feature as an evolution method, which is a translation of most of the mainline game friendship features.

Buddy Tasks are special conditions that certain Pokemon must meet to evolve while being by your side on adventuring, and here’s every Pokemon that evolves with Buddy Tasks.

Buddy Tasks can be found by searching the tab located beneath the Evolve button, on the Pokemon’s status screen. Players need to tap the arrow to check the Buddy Task and their progression status. When completed, you will be able to Evolve that species using the Candy requirement listed above.
